ITINERARY

Tour will be guided to Dolenjska region in a small town where the first lady of the United State Melania Trumb, born Knauss is a native of Slovenian from Sevnica, where she was raised, Guide leads a tour that includes the first lady's elementary school, the Communist-era apartment block where she first lived and the neighbourhood where her parents still own a handsome, two-story, black-roofed white house. After we will visit a cafe offering Melania cake (white chocolate mousse, nuts and edible gold) and visit the castle on the top of the hill surrounded with 5000 grape plants, trta is the word for a vine plant.

The castle has a baroque salon, corridors and a fresco tower, a wedding and conference room, a school collection, a firefighting collection, a collection of exiles from the municipality of Sevnica, a sales gallery, a collection about Ajdovski castle, a castle chapel, a collection of beautiful art by Ivan Razboršek, collection View the author Rudy Stopar.

After the tour of the castle, you can relax in the tasting of wines and local typical delicacies in the castle wine cellar. On the balcony in front of the castle, you have a wonderful view of the old town of Sevnica and the valley of the Sava River.
