Is it cheaper to travel independently?
The cost of independent travel can really start to add up. Once you consider everything such as accommodation, food, national park, entrance fee, excursions, road tolls, bus passes and local taxies or car hire and fuel, you’ll soon see that travelling with us is great value for money. Plus everything is planed and organise for you.
How do I book a tour?
Full payment is required in advance and can be purchased through our website. Once you have paid you will receive a booking confirmation by email.
We do accept payment in cash on the day, just need to be paid in advance.
I am travelling on my own. Will I be the only one?
Maybe, or not far from it. The majority of the people travelling with us join their trips as solo travellers. Our trips are great way to travel safely and meet other like-minded
adventures peoples from all over the world and we do not charge single supplements.
Is the tour guaranteed to run?
We do not require a minimum number of bookings to run our tours. Please check your email inbox the day before the tour!
Is it possible to cancel my booking once it is purchased?
Cancellations made by email more than 10 days before the tour will be refunded in full. No refunds can be made after the 10 day period, although you can transfer your ticket to someone else if you would like.No shows will not be refunded or allowed to book an alternative date.
Where is the meeting point?
You will receive an email confirmation from us with the meeting point. It will be in Ljubljana city centre.
What happens if I arrive late?
The tours will start at the specified time and we cannot wait for late arrivals. You will be given your guide’s phone number and are more than welcome to catch up, however no refund will be given for missed tourists.
How many people are on the tours?
We run tours for a minimum of 1 man and a maximum of 8 peoples.
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes, bring rain gear or/and sunglasses. Check weather forecast for Slovenia.
Do you run tours if the weather is bad?
We operate the tours, rain or shine.
Can I book a private tour for a group?
You certainly can, email us with the date and number of people and we will provide you with a quote.
Are the tours family friendly?
We have had infants and young children on our tours in the past.
Do you run tours in the evening?
Unfortunately we do not run tours in the evenings at the moment.
My plane lands in Ljubljana in the morning, will I make it on time for the tour?
We cannot guarantee anything in this case and we leave it to the customers to decide. Please keep in mind that you will need some time to disembark the plane, clear passport controls, collect your luggage, collect your car rental, find your hotel… The airport is about 20-25 minutes away from Ljubljana city centre where we start our tours.
Do you charge booking or credit card fees?
No, we don’t like credit card charges and we’re pretty sure you don’t either! For that reason, we won’t pass any fees on to you if you choose to pay by credit card. That’s more cash for you to splash on souvenirs!
